Move on?
Well,...... Ohh kayyyy.
But I was just getting interested. Guess I can go off line now and wait until you all get fun again :)
Or you could interest me with things that you are doing in your neighborhood. Lots happens here all the time on many different levels from uncounted numbers of people in and out of our circle of friends. The foudation (or at the very least the cornerstone) for tyranny resistance is being laid. And all you have to do is risk almost nothing to have an impact. Are you willing to say not guilty on a speeding ticket that said you were doing 65 in a 55 MPH zone (while you were realy doing 85+) ? Are you willing to dig a hole in your backyard without a permit? Or not register a special gift of Amazon freshwater fish for your home fish tank that's over the size limit for your area that you paid a$15.00 waiver fee to your local tax collecter (domestic animal commission)?
All of you must have risked something in the name of freedom and I want to hear about it. Not a repost of a story about a pissed of farmer 40 miles from where you live in almost the same valley of your home state,... something _you_ have done. And I'm not talking about the passing out of billions of fliers or how many trillion petition signatures you've gathered. I'm talking about some payment, risk & sacrifice. Not an arm or a leg, not a loved one or financial security and sure as hell not your sacred honor. I'm talking about a traffic ticket that maxes out at $400 (yeah, thay are getting more expensive) and that they promise a 50% reduction if you plead guilty and just pay the fine and kiss the ring of the tax collector with the power of uniformed men & women with guns. Is it worth $200 to you to defend yourself and have them spend $1200 in the cost of collection. Would you have done your part for one year? Maybe you could earn another 3 years of grace from being a total collaborator with the enemy by telling others about what you did and why and how much bigger your spirit has become because of it. Two hundred dollars well spent,... don't you think.
A small town next to Phoenix is one of the poorest areas in the country. We're not talking about a poor part of the Valley of the Sun that has really big pot holes in the road and a leaky sewer system. We're talking about a place that time forgot. That has jumped from 1 four way stop sign to 2 in 20+ years. Were most of the roads have never been paved. Guadalupe is a south of the U.S. Mexican border town that got transplanted here many decades ago and never wound the towns clock because they never had one. And across the street (literally) is Arizona Mills mall. One of the largest in the country and dripping with money. A local adult entertainment club (topless dancing and drinking for all members of the He-men Woman (don't really) Haters Club) is owned by a man that has started construction of a building that has the plans filed with the liquor guys, titled; "Restaurant and Bar". Although 2 small stages jutting out into the seating areas might be a clue, the owner isn't saying a damn thing. And they never got a building permit before they started putting up the building...... Just "POOF"! One day soon a business opens up and the government wasn't asked permission (oh my goodness chaos is here). The _penalty_ you ask? His building fee is doubled from $500 to $1000. $500 is the only _apology_ he is asked for in exchange for his not asking permission to be FREE.
Like naked girls and beer or not is not the point (well for some of you maybe :) The point is that we allow government to control all the time, when all we have to do to show our resistance is to take a look at what the cost of resistance is for that particular demonstration of how a free person would act. Child Protective Services may be able to take your children for telling a government agent to "fuck off" while their threatening a family that home schools the wrong material in their opinion,... so you make logical _and_ principled decisions about who and what to show your resistance to,.... and when and how. But do not become a sheep. The more you show your contempt for the slavery the faster freedom starts getting closer. And then it gets easier and you learn more and you share more and you inspire more and then the more we can infect this government of the mind and body.
I risk as little as possible and would gladly teach. But my price is to learn something,... teach me. Keep me interested with stories of just a few of the thousand cuts that big government will have to suffer to finally endure its death. Tell me over pints of brew and a leg of lamb how you backed down one of the King's men with your frosty stare an then a small smile that denoted the creative thought that just crossed your mind of how you were going to make this punk of a government underling pay for his crimes against humanity. We'll toast to the "death of,.... demise of,.... vanquishing of,... you know "bad guys" and stuff like that.
Forget all of the internal crap and the garbage about the national party and their bullshit. But do not let them redefine you. Do not let them take respect you have earned from the people. Don't let evil minds (or just really stupid ones) take you're only weapon and use it to provide their own security while ripping yours away from your hands. Hold onto to the respect people have for you and hold onto the respect that you have for yourself as if it was your only hope for freedom,... because it is.
On the ballot, bad guys can have an "L" after their name too. Learn to tell the difference and teach others too and you'll have done your part,... and maybe not even break a sweat.
Teach me about what you are doing out there (the legal stuff - government loves when you e-mail about the illegal stuff,...{ well maybe some petty offenses could get by without a conspiracy charge :) ... then again,... maybe not.}
Vin and L. Neil write books about such people and thereby do their part. Where is your chapter? What is your small part. What part of history will you be asked by your great grandson to come to his 5th grade class to speak about because you did something that made you a hero and an expert in that little boys eyes for even a moment. Maybe you didn't have a chance to stand in front of a tank column. But would you place a flower into the barrel of a rifle of the police state and secure your place in history because you just couldn't live with the idea that while you saw a chance to do some good you found some way out of it? Then found later that the price was far to high to even consider it without the cost of your life. I and others will slap around some more anyone that would argue that freedom is somehow served by taking on the unprincipled tactics of the bad guys. Let the R'd and D's take credit for my freedom. I just want my freedom back and I know the only way to get it is to start thinking like a free man thinks. To act like a free man acts. And learn first hand the value of freedom and regain the spirit of those that knew before us.
And the cost to you is half a day's work off or half a day in pay that you give to yourself. And be creative. If you spend alot of money then you're just not being smart enough about it.
Come on guys, I know you won't disapoint me.
Move on guys? Where are we going to go?
Inspire me,
Ernie
(that should be a signature,... "Inpire Me,". Leaders are much more inpirational and motivate us to inspire them when the possibily of unprincipled behavior _does not exist_.) IMHO.
